Joining the Museum of Capitalism email list is the best way to stay updated on our opening and current programming, and to be informed of opportunities to participate and special events. We occasionally plan special projects only through our list. Join us.
VOLUNTEER
Like most museums we also rely on the generosity of a small team of volunteers. Museum volunteers are not required to have expertise on economics or any specific political views, and many choose to work with us in order to learn something new.
BECOME A MEMBER
Museum of Capitalism members receive occasional first glimpses at new acquisitions and exhibitions, and invitations to other special events. Membership to the Museum of Capitalism is available on a sliding scale basis. Those who can afford to pay are asked to effectively subsidize the membership of those who cannot. We strive to keep the museum accessible to all, and part of that is not requiring payment.
SUGGEST AN ARTIFACT
The ongoing planning of the Museum of Capitalism involves identifying the artifacts that will become key elements of our exhibitions. As a non-collecting institution, we maintain a distributed network of relationships with partner curators. Each one of us has a story to tell that adds something to the larger story of capitalism. Help us tell it.
SUBMIT AN ARTWORK OR PROPOSE AN EXHIBIT
The Museum of Capitalism works with artists and non-artists from across the globe to incorporate existing works or develop new work to become a part of museum exhibitions and programming. We are currently seeking works on the themes of race and capitalism in the US, ecology, borders, and urban development.
