VOLUNTEERING
Like most museums, we rely on the generosity of volunteers to keep our exhibits and events open and accessible. Museum of Capitalism volunteers are not required to have expertise on economics or any specific political views, and many choose to lend their time to the museum in order to learn something new.
Our needs are always changing, so if there’s something you’re interested in that you don’t see listed below, please contact us to see if there’s a place where you can help. Currently we are not actively seeking volunteers, however we sometimes have special projects that call for the following roles and skills:
Please fill out our volunteer form if you are interested in volunteering. Reliability and respect for museum visitors are the most important qualities in a successful volunteer. If you cannot offer these, please do not apply.
The Museum of Capitalism does not not offer unpaid internships. But we do sometimes have openings for paid positions and internships for school credit. Potential interns should fill out the volunteer form, and indicate in the Interests section that you would like more information about internships.
The dream of going to another world is just that: a dream, and probably also a deep sin. But to seize, or seize again, this world, this same, one and only world, to grasp it otherwise, that is not a dream, that is a necessity.
